As part of the kick-off festivities for this year’s Ninth Annual Tales of the Cocktail, Cherry Heering presented ‘King of the Cocktail’ and founder of New Orlean’s-based Museum of American Cocktail, Dale DeGroff a vintage bottle of Cherry Heering liqueur from the year, 1890. The Xante Company/Peter F. Heering CEO, Adele Robberstadpresented the legendary industry fixture with the once in a lifetime donation to be on permanent display at the famed Museum of American Cocktail (MOAC).

A spirited hub that was started to advance the profession and increase consumer knowledge of mixology, the museums mission is to provide educational resources for professionals and the public in the fine art of crafting the cocktail. Leading visitors through the fascinating two-hundred year history of the American cocktail, MOAC was a no-brainer choice not to mention perfect platform to showcase the Cherry Heering circa 1890.

Now alongside a mind-boggling collection of rare spirits, Prohibition-era literature and music, vintage cocktail shakers, glassware, tools and gadgets is a bottle of vintage Cherry Heering. Check out this video of Degroff being presented the generous donation by Robberstad:
