Heering Copenhagen fashion week press release

Medina and Lars Wallin wow guests at Heering fashion show together with the winner from Heering World Championship. Heering Cherry Liqueur at CFW continues to support young talents

International and national fashion press, buyers, and celebrities gathered at NIMB on Thursday 12th August, to take in Swedish bespoke dress designer Lars Wallin’s stunning first-ever show at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Heering Cherry Liqueur® and famous Hollywood stylist Jonas Hallberg was behind the highly successful show, which included a surprise performance by Danish singing sensation, Medina.

To commemorate their efforts to support new fashion talent, Heering treated show-goers to an additional show as the Greek fashion prodigy Loukas-Athanasios Alifragkis debuted his first collection since winning Heering’s World Championship in Fashion Mixing and Drink Designing in 2009, at which Lars Wallin resides as a judge. Mr Alifragkis’ powerful collection demonstrated the importance of Heering’s cultivation of new fashion designers around the globe.

While waiters served the Copenhagen Cocktail in special designed Heering bottles the shows’ hostess, Danish actress Christiane Shaumburg Müller, announced the autumn auction of a Cherry Heering Liqueur® bottle from 1890, which aims to raise funds for future endeavours to support fashion. The presence of Shaumburg Müller and Medina illustrated Heering’s position amongst the trendsetters of modern popular culture, and the old liquor company’s continuous popularity with the stylish youth.

As one of Sweden’s best-loved designers, Lars Wallin has created dresses for Scandinavia’s finest clients for two decades, including T.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine of Sweden. Heering Cherry Liqueur® has been produced since 1818 and is the original ’Cherry Brandy.’ Purveyor to H.M. Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and H.M. Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, the liqueur is sold around the world and is the essential ingredient in the world-famous Singapore Sling, Blood and Sand, and Copenhagen cocktails.
