Gemini Welcomes Two New Premium Brands

Chicago, IL – Ken Kwarta, general manager of Gemini Spirits & Wine, announced that effective Nov. 1 the company will become the exclusive U.S. importer for the Heering and Xanté brands.

“Heering and Xanté are truly exceptional products with exciting potential within the U.S. marketplace, particularly in the mixology and luxury spirit worlds,” noted Kwarta. “We are thrilled to welcome these premium brands to our portfolio of award-winning spirits.”

Cherry Heering has been produced since 1818, and holds its place in the industry as an iconic cocktail accessory and the original cherry brandy. It is an essential ingredient in the world-famous Singapore Sling as well as the Blood & Sand cocktail, with growing popularity amongst mixologists around the world. Currently available in more than 100 countries worldwide, Cherry Heering adds just the right bit of extravagance to the cocktail universe. The recent introduction of Heering Coffee Liqueur builds on tradition by offering a rare blend of Caribbean Rum, dark coffee and rich cocoa. These all-natural products provide a taste experience rivaled by few in the market today.

Xanté is a cognac-based pear spirit that has been distributed in Europe for more than a decade and just recently took the United States by storm. The story of Xanté starts in Belgium over 100 years ago when liqueur manufacturer Jean Heinrich was confided with ancient, all natural liqueur recipes by a Benedictine monk. Xanté is conceived with four year old cognacs matured in French Limousine Oak barrels which draw out the rich amber color and fragrant notes of spicy vanilla and pear. Today, Xanté can be found in over twenty markets enjoyed neat, chilled or in a cocktail.

Adéle Robberstad, CEO of the Xanté and Peter F. Heering companies commented, “We look forward to expanding our U.S. presence with the Gemini partnership, and taking our brands to the next level. Our organizations share an extraordinary passion for building great spirit brands- there could not be a better fit for Heering and Xanté.”
